We are looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to take ownership of Emmbr's Software Engineering market.
This is a hands-on 360 role with real ownership. You will manage client relationships, win new work, and deliver an exceptional experience for candidates from the first conversation through to placement and beyond. Unlike many senior roles, you won't be building from zero. Emmbr has recruited in this market for over 10 years, with the desk further developed by our General Manager over the past seven years, resulting in a strong client base, an active candidate network, and consistent hiring demand.
The role
You will operate end-to-end across the Software Engineering space, combining value-add business development with high-quality delivery.
Day to day, you will:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of Software Engineering clients across contract and permanent recruitment
* Identify new opportunities, open doors, and build long-term, trusted partnerships
* Run the full recruitment lifecycle, from job brief and search through to offer management and aftercare
* Deliver a high-touch candidate experience and build long-term talent pipelines
* Stay close to the market and provide clear, informed advice to both clients and candidates
What we're looking for
You will likely have:
* A background in technology recruitment, operating at Senior Consultant or Senior Recruiter level
* Confidence managing senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes
* A consistent track record of delivery, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
* The drive to generate new business and grow accounts in a natural, relationship-led way
* A reputation for doing the right thing by candidates and clients
