Job Title: Operations Readiness Specialist
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Readiness Engineer to join our Upstream Operations Readiness team in Perth. The successful candidate will support asset readiness planning throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to strategies for safe and efficient operations.
This role focuses on delivering Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) entry strategies for Subsea and Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) scopes and providing detailed input into FEED Invitation to Tender packages.
Collaboration across engineering, operations, digital, and procurement teams is essential.
Main Responsibilities
* Support operations readiness activities for upstream development projects.
* Develop and implement FEED entry strategies for subsea and FPSO scopes.
* Contribute operational input into FEED Invitation to Tenders to ensure readiness and alignment.
* Engage with engineering, corporate, and procurement teams to embed operational considerations early.
* Support digital readiness and data integration for future operations.
* Promote governance, ethical conduct, and alignment with our values.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to meet readiness and project objectives.
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline.
* Minimum 10 years' multidisciplinary experience in oil and gas.
* Proven experience in Maintenance, Operations, and Subsea Engineering.
* Proficient in digital, data, and IT systems relevant to asset operations.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
* Commitment to operational excellence, governance, and compliance.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with digital technologies, data management, and IT systems is highly desirable.
A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and at least 10 years of experience in oil and gas is required.
