The Company

With a track record of sustained success, this family-owned business is one of the leading suppliers of specialty ingredients to major brand owners and contract manufacturers in the dietary supplement, pharmaceutical, animal health, and cosmetic industries across Australia and New Zealand.

The Role

Based in our Bella Vista office and reporting to the General Manager, this newly created role will be responsible for proactively developing and maintaining all quality assurance, regulatory and technical (QRT) documents required by both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and government agencies. Key elements of the role will be,

* Responsibility for the completion and maintenance of all quality assurance and regulatory documents, including vendor questionnaires, licences and permits

* Ensuring that all of our ingredients comply with the requirements of the various regulatory agencies across Australia and NZ

* Responsibility for further developing our quality assurance program in conjunction with the General Manager to ensure we continue to meet not just our own obligations but also those of our customers and suppliers.

* To provide technical and regulatory guidance to the Trapeze team across our 4 market segments.

* Liaising with overseas suppliers to provide technical support to both our sales and marketing team and customers will be another important feature of the role.

This is a challenging and exciting role and requires a person that is not only experienced but also service-driven with a passion for exceeding customer expectations.

The Candidate

You will

* Be able to hit the ground running and have a good working knowledge of the regulatory and quality assurance requirements of one or more of the key government agencies across Australia and NZ (TGA, AICIS, APVMA, Medsafe).

* Have a minimum of 2-years experience in a quality assurance role ideally within the complementary healthcare, or cosmetic industries.

* Be able to implement company-defined strategies and goals, but equally contribute to the development of a best practice quality assurance program.

* Be well organized with high attention to detail, coupled with excellent time management skills and able to adapt to sometimes fast-changing priorities.

* Be highly motivated with exceptional interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
