Key Responsibilities
* Manage the preparation of financial statements including month-end and year-end closes.
* Ensure timely and accurate general ledger reconciliations, accruals, and journals.
* Monitor working capital, margins, and revenue recognition on active construction projects.
* Liaise with external auditors for audit preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
* Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, providing valuable insights to support business decision-making.
* Develop and refine internal finance systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
* Prepare and deliver financial reports to stakeholders, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
* Hold tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance.
* Be CPA or CA qualified.
* Possess at least 5 years of experience in financial accounting roles, preferably within the construction or project environments.
* Demonstrate expertise in working capital management, cost control, and project-based reporting.
* Exhibit advanced Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.
* Display excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused attitude.
