About the Role
We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our team at our 7-chair dental practice in the suburbs of Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients and working collaboratively with our experienced team.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform dental hygiene assessments and treatments, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride applications.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
* Assist dentists in managing dental emergencies and procedures.
* Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
* Stay up to date with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies.
* Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with patients and team members.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent communication skills with both patients and your support team.
* New graduates welcome to apply.
* Passion to learn and develop new skills expanding scope of works.
* Hold unrestricted AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance (or able to obtain).
* Ability to work within Australia.
