About the role
An exciting opportunity exists to join Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) Medical Imaging in a District administrative support and billing officer role.
With a strong focus on billing and data integrity within the medical imaging sphere, the role supports Medicare compliance and effective revenue management practices across the District wide service of Medical Imaging.
The role will work closely with another colleague in a job-sharing capacity to enable education, handover and support. Historically situated within the Dubbo Medical Imaging Department, location flexibility will be offered to the right candidate within one of our Medical Imaging departments within WNSWLHD.
The role will also have some expectation to participate in the administration officer roles and functions within the Medical Imaging department such as public reception, telephony, booking clerk duties, etc. As one of the first team members that a patient or referrer will be in contact with, we are looking for a friendly and motivated person who has high level communication and organisational skills.
