You will drive business transformation, support strategic growth initiatives, guide potential M&A opportunities, and ensure strong governance, operational discipline, and sustainable long‐term value creation.Key ResponsibilitiesLeading the finance function, setting strategic direction, and establishing strong financial controls to drive sustainable growth.Overseeing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and modelling to support informed decision‐making and business performance.Managing risk, compliance, and internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure adherence to regulatory and reporting standards.Driving business growth initiatives, including organic expansion and M&A activities, from evaluation through integration.Enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and supporting transformational programs across the organisation.Engaging with stakeholders, including executive leadership, family owners, investors, and teams, to foster collaboration and a data‐driven, values‐aligned culture.About YouDegree‐qualified with CPA or Chartered Accountant.10–15 years in financial leadership roles, including at least 5 years as CFO in a growth‐oriented business of comparable scale.Proven track record in M&A and Private Equity, including full transaction lifecycle, post‐merger integration, and experience with family‐owned or closely held businesses.Strong skills in financial reporting, modelling, forecasting, analysis, and internal controls, with experience implementing ERP and digitisation initiatives.Demonstrated ability to drive business transformation, operational efficiency, and financial precision in a complex, high‐growth environment.Why Consider Lead finance in a growing, family‐owned Australian business, driving strategic growth, FP&A, and potential M&A initiatives.
