Credit Risk Management Officer required for Leading business based in City Fringe.
The role is responsible for monitoring, planning, and assessing the collections portfolio to minimise credit risk. You will be assessing credit limits for new and existing customers and analysing and providing recommendations in relation to trends and implementing changes to reduce risk and managing legal recovery matters.
**Responsibilities**:
- Proactively analyse and alert the business on high-risk customers and any other concerns
- Manage insolvency and legal recovery legal matters
- Proactively conduct regular credit limit reviews
- Provide expertise advice to higher management, work collaboratively with the wider accounts receivable team and sales team
- Complete credit risk assessments and provide approvals for higher value customer onboarding
- Contribute to improvement of processes.
**About you**:
- Experience in an insolvency and/or legal related role
- Hold strong commercial acumen
- Knowledge of credit bureau supplier and industry data
- Intermediate Excel skills, ability to work with large datasets
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Degree qualified in accounting or finance preferred
- Strong collaborator
