Mining Employment Services is currently recruiting for a Tenement & Database Coordinator to join a growing Australian resources company advancing a portfolio of copper exploration and development projects.
About the Role
Reporting to senior management, you will play an important role in supporting the company's exploration activities through the management of tenement obligations, geological data and statutory compliance requirements. This is a varied Perth‐based position that combines tenement administration, database management, GIS support and regulatory reporting. Working closely with geologists, consultants and government departments, you will help ensure projects continue to advance efficiently and remain compliant across a substantial tenement portfolio.
About You
* Experience in Tenement Administration, Geological Database Management or similar exploration support roles
* Strong understanding of WA mining and exploration regulations
* Experience managing tenement compliance and statutory reporting requirements
* Exposure to geological databases, GIS systems and exploration data management
* Well‐organised with excellent attention to detail
* Strong written communication and reporting skills
* Comfortable working within a smaller team environment where responsibilities are varied
* Experience within copper or base metals projects highly regarded
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Geology, GIS, Environmental Science or a related discipline advantageous
* Minimum 2 years in a similar role
Position Duties
* Coordinate and manage exploration licence applications, renewals and extensions
* Prepare and submit annual statutory reporting requirements
* Maintain tenement records and compliance obligations across multiple project areas
* Manage and maintain geological databases and exploration datasets
* Support GIS mapping and spatial data management activities
* Liaise with government departments, consultants and external stakeholders
* Support exploration teams through data management, reporting and administrative functions
* Assist with environmental, heritage and permitting requirements
* Ensure compliance with WA mining regulations and reporting deadlines
