About the Role
Our team is seeking a skilled tractor operator to join our Victorian renovation crew. As part of this role, you will be responsible for servicing sports fields at community level through to AFL venues on a daily basis. This involves operating tractors and implements, as well as transporting soil, mulch, or materials around the site as required.
* You will operate various types of tractors and attachments (e.g., slasher, aerator, rotary hoe, harrows) to carry out tasks such as ground preparation, mowing, spreading, or cultivation.
* Perform regular pre-start inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
* Transport soil, mulch, or materials around the site as directed.
* Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to meet timelines and deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Identify and report any mechanical issues, safety concerns, or hazards in a timely manner.
* Assist with general grounds or site duties as needed.
The role requires adherence to operational guidelines and safety standards to support timely project delivery and quality site outcomes.
About You
* You must have at least 2 years' experience operating tractors or similar equipment.
* A current driver's license is essential; a MR or above license is preferred.
* Experience working in grounds maintenance, agriculture, or construction sectors is highly desirable.
* You should be proficient in operating a range of tractor attachments and machinery.
* You should be able to follow work instructions, schedules, and project plans.
