Key Responsibilities:
* Preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance
* Installation of equipment
* Monitor, follow up, and address issues associated with the implementation and progress of planned and unplanned maintenance tasks
* Continuous improvement of plant equipment & systems
* Perform general mechanical fitting tasks/duties
* Conduct statutory safety and machine inspections and repairs
* Communicate with management regarding equipment and maintenance issues
* Participate in the development of maintenance policies
* Suggest and implement improvements on job and work practices
* Work autonomously and in a team environment
* Adhere to the Hofmann Safety Management System
* Contribute to a culture committed to continuous improvement
Skills/Experience:
* Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting
* Mechanical trade background essential
* Pride in quality of work and results-focused
* Practical ability with a good aptitude for maintenance work
* Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
* Additional certificates/licenses are advantageous
This role is ideally suited to someone with current or prior mechanical fitting experience. It requires flexibility and a proactive attitude. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, a self-starter, and a team player.
Training in workplace safety and management systems will be provided ongoingly.
This is a full-time position with immediate start. Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate plus superannuation, based on skills & experience.
