Based from Brisbane, we currently look to complement our existing team with a competitive, engaging and high achieving Sales Manager to work with us in continuing to grow the business. In this rewarding role, you will be part of a successful team focussed on the growth and management of existing client as well as discovering and pursuing new opportunities.
You will have the opportunity to manage and grow your own client base and territory whilst working in close collaboration with a team who will be thoroughly invested in your personal and professional success.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the State Sales Manager, the key aspects of this position include:
* Managing enquiries and negotiating the needs of existing customers.
* Work closing with your clients developing and implementing business development initiatives to uncover growth opportunities.
* Preparing weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
* Being able to undertake travel in regional and metro areas across your region requiring up to 8 nights away per month.
* Attend industry and networking events.
* Being a collaborative member of a high performing team.
Qualifications
To be successful in this position you will have:
* Proven experience and success in business-to-business sales as a high achiever. Tyre experience considered as advantageous but not essential.
* Strong networking and negotiation skills with the ability to work toward and exceed targets.
* Strong drive to succeed and tenacity in order develop and maintain close working relationships with dealers and customers.
* The ability to work in a wider team environment.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective organisational and time management skills.
* The ability to develop product knowledge to become an expert in the field.
