Senior Line Chef Job Description


Job Overview

Compass Group seeks a seasoned Senior Line Chef to work in bulk catering environments.

* As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading kitchen operations, menu planning, and staff management.


Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities, and Dining Room employees to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
2. Manage the preparation and presentation of buffet-style meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner services.
3. Maintain impeccable hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.


Requirements

* Proven experience working in bulk catering environments as a Senior Line Chef or similar role.
* Strong knowledge of kitchen procedures, menu planning, and cost control.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
