The opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for community engagement and a drive to make a meaningful impact through rewarding challenges.
As the Volunteer Support and Project Officer, you will be responsible for coordinating the volunteers at Mandurah's Seniors Centre overseeing recruitment, induction, rostering and ongoing support.
In addition, you will contribute to the delivery of age-friendly projects that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life for older people in the Mandurah Community.
To be successful in this role, you will:
* 5+ years' experience in customer service, and volunteer or team management experience; using staff and volunteer rostering platforms; and in developing and delivering community or similar projects.
* Developed and effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
* Effective coordination, organisational and time management skills
* Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* Strong commitment to customer service and principles of community engagement
* Qualification in a relevant discipline e.g Certificate IV or Diploma in Community/Ageing, Administration or Human Resources (desirable)
* Senior First Aid certificate (desirable).
