BENEFITSLarge, global healthcare company offering career opportunities.A culture that is family friendly, open, and collaborative, nurturing and progressive.Professional ongoing training and development.THE COMPANY YOU WOULD BE JOININGThis global, European headquartered, pharmaceutical organisation specialises in lifesaving prescription medicines and medical technologies.Their products and services are used to help care for critically and chronically ill patients.They are committed to putting essential medicines and technologies in the hands of people who help improve patient outcomes.WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROWReporting to the Managing Director, this Commercial Excellence Specialist position is responsible for driving the effectiveness and efficiency of the commercial execution for all business units within this organisation.The primary functional aspects of this role are commercial excellence leadership (no direct reports), go-to-market model optimisation, salesforce effectiveness (SFE) fundamentals, CRM tools implementation and utilisation, incentive plans, incentive operation and target setting, tender management process optimisation, knowledge and compliance.In more detail, this role will lead, implement and manage the newly established commercial excellence function in Australia in collaboration with APAC Commercial Excellence.In close collaboration with the business units, you will drive & optimise the segmentation and classification of healthcare customer groups and ensure SFE fundamentals are established to ensure potential high value customer targeting, customer engagement KPIs alignment, performance tracking and periodic review process, and coaching capability of the sales managers.You will be responsible for the review, design and optimisation of the CRM system, SFE KPIs tracking tools and data analysis and reporting.You will ensure the tender management process is enhanced with the right tools and processes and work closely with sales, marketing, finance, medical, training and other departments to align sales strategies with business goals.You will prepare competitor analysis and market benchmark in close collaboration with marketing teams to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities and use market insights to propose/refine sales strategies and approaches.YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TO BE SUCCESSFULBachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, pharmacy, or a related field.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in sales operations, or sales force effectiveness in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools - preferably Salesforce.com and Power BI.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with full Australian working rights.Ability to work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.Strong project management skills.Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Interested?
