About the Role
VFA Learning Geelong is a dynamic Registered Training Organisation committed to the success and supportive care of our students.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join the VFA Learning team, based at our Geelong Yarra Street Campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Enrolment administration and management duties:
1. Manage day-to-day functions to ensure daily targets are met
2. Generate leads through various methods
3. Acknowledge client needs and assess the company's ability to meet those needs
4. Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage all interactions
5. Prepare status reports on goals
6. Follow up with new leads and referrals generated
7. Complete all required documents and inductions for new commencements
8. Ensure accuracy of all reports submitted for compliance and reporting
* Implement necessary actions to maintain existing and develop new business opportunities/ideas as directed by the General Manager:
1. Develop, implement, and manage the necessary actions to successfully grow the business
2. Upsell courses and cross-sell courses for potential and current students and organisations
3. Consult with the leadership team/CEO to assess the viability of new education opportunities to meet new demands
4. Keep up with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of competitors
5. Complete industry engagement documents
6. Identify opportunities in target markets for your organisation's products and services
7. Nurture relationships with key customer accounts
* Organise seminars or expos to promote VFA Learning:
1. Coordinate programs and events to network with previous students and the wider industry
2. Participate in both internal and external marketing events
3. Create openings to make presentations to organisations, career teachers, schools, gyms, and sporting clubs
* Identify and deliver potential professional development opportunities:
1. Work with the enrolment team/Training Manager to organise and market events within our scope
2. Assist with the training and delivery of courses within your scope of qualifications
Requirements
* Full working rights in Australia
* Current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Australia History Criminal Check
* Working with Children Check or willing to obtain before employment
* Ability to work Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 5:00pm
