We are seeking an experienced **Content Designer** to join a **Digital Engagement and Experience** team, responsible for designing and delivering accessible, user-centric content across internal and external digital platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for delivering high-quality content that meets user needs, enhances customer experience, and aligns with organisational objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver content that is accessible and user-friendly, with a particular focus on digital platforms such as **Drupal** and **SharePoint**. You will bring your expertise in content writing, editing, and digital service design to enhance the agency's online presence and support digital transformation projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design and develop accessible, user-centred content for digital products and services
- Use **Drupal** and **SharePoint** to publish and manage digital content
- Advocate for best practice content design and develop templates, guidelines, and recommendations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital content aligns with user needs and the organisation's strategic objectives
- Provide recommendations for content architecture and information design to improve user experience
- Manage stakeholder relationships effectively and work with mínimal supervision in a fast-paced, changing environment
**What We Are Looking For**:
- **Minimum 3 years' experience** in designing and developing user-centred content for digital products and services in a government or corporate environment
- **Proficiency with web content management systems**, especially **Drupal** and **SharePoint**:
- Strong understanding of **Digital Service Standard**, **Agile methodology**, and **WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA** accessibility standards
- Experience in content strategy, information architecture, and digital service design
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex content design concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Strong **attention to detail**, **organisational skills**, and **time management** capabilities
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, build relationships, and work independently
- Experience in a **rapid change environment** is highly desirable
