The Opportunity
Due to growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Coordinator in this brand new role as our Procurement function expands.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our procurement process where you will be responsible for negotiating with vendors, managing orders and contracts internal approvals, and ensure CPP secure the best possible deals. You will have a keen eye for detail and be an excellent communicator who creates a lasting impression for both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors
* Assist project teams with the development, issue and management of RFQ's and RFT's, including assessment of Procurement response criteria
* Lead and manage all new vendor registration pre-qualifications
* Actively participate in CPP's Modern Slavery Committee and conduct supply chain mapping
* Investigates preferred vendor arrangements and assists with Master Framework Agreement negotiations and business implementation
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
* Demonstrated extensive experience in key stakeholder and vendor relationship management
* Prior experience in Procurement or similar will be highly regarded
* Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
* Experience within the renewable energy industry or similar
* Intermediate to advanced skills with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
* High level organisation and attention to detail
