Foreign Exchange Risk Management Analyst
As a Foreign Exchange Risk Management Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the distribution of Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk Management products. This will involve:
* Developing relationships with SME and Retail clients to promote and price FX products.
* Assisting in the management of treasury documentation, establishing limits, and assisting Business Bankers as required.
* Providing support to FX Specialists and RM Product Specialist in servicing existing and prospective foreign exchange customers.
* Collaborating with the FX & IR RM team to service an existing client base while supporting Business Banking & Agribusiness Managers in establishing limits and client accounts.
* Providing ongoing project support to the development and implementation of improved procedures and products.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Client Experience – demonstrating client satisfaction through assisting the Foreign Exchange desk servicing a national portfolio of clients.
* Portfolio Growth and Development – assisting the FX & IR RM teams to achieve revenue and behavioural targets.
* Project Work – providing ongoing project support to the development and implementation of improved procedures and products.
* Compliance – adhering to compliance requirements for all internal and external regulatory and operational activities by monitoring & reporting on daily activities, limit breaches and policy breaches.
* Personal Development - constructing and implementing a personal development plan to enhance skills required in current and future roles within the organisation.
* Team Engagement – contributing to the team effort on the Treasury Sales Desk, Treasury as a Division and the Bank's goals.
Requirements and Qualifications include:
* An Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Marketing is highly desirable.
* RG146 Dealer Accreditation is highly desirable (the successful candidate may potentially be supported to complete AFMA accreditation alongside RG146).
* A strong background in banking and/or Financial Markets industry is essential.
* Excellent customer skills with the ability to empathize and communicate effectively.
* Self-motivated with the determination and drive to succeed in a competitive market.
* Motivated to offer excellent service and add value to customers.
* Advanced Excel skills and a high degree of mathematical literacy.
* Methodical and strict attention to detail with the ability to problem solve.
* Time management and organisational skills and the desire to work collaboratively.
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
