A key role exists for a Business Analyst to assist in the delivery of a diverse and varied program of work, centred around fraud investigation capabilities.
Duties
* Contribute to business case development for the National Disability Insurance Agency's (NDIA) fraud program.
* Work closely with stakeholders to discover, define, validate, prioritise and manage requirements that align with NDIA's strategies and principles.
* Apply Agile delivery practices, including backlog creation, data discovery and analysis.
* Foster an outcome-focused approach, challenging assumptions while retaining customer-centricity.
* Maintain self-management, adaptability and a willingness to learn.
* Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders and third-party providers.
* Facilitate workshops and conduct business analysis activities, including business process modelling and data modelling.
* Define project requirements by identifying milestones, phases and features.
* Offer recommendations to senior management using analytics to support decision-making and participate in implementing approved changes.
* Support various business units in maintaining new and existing customer data and system integrations.
Selection Criteria
1. Proven experience in delivering high-impact initiatives that drive meaningful change, leveraging initiative and self-drive to meet deadlines.
2. Senior-level experience (> 3 years) in fraud investigations, case management and data mining, with expertise in delivering new services and ongoing feature elaboration.
3. Experience working with cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
4. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective stakeholder engagement and communication.
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering productive relationships across multiple projects and business areas.
6. Proficiency in eliciting business requirements and acceptance criteria through various techniques, including workshops.
