Job Title: Health and Security Assistant
This role is a casual opportunity within the Southern NSW Local Health District, where you can make a real difference in delivering safe patient-centred care in a diverse rural setting.
* As part of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing general assistance in wards, portering patients within facilities/campuses, undertaking cleaning duties and security duties under the direction of clinical staff.
* You are required to hold a current NSW Security Licence (Class 1A minimum) and maintain it throughout employment.
* The ideal candidate will have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds, possess strong communication skills and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
* Additionally, they must have demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and aggression management, as well as physical capacity to perform lifting and transferring patients.
