**_ Qualifications & experience needed:_**
- Efficiency and Time Management Skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of residential construction in single and two storey (Traditional, framed and other various construction methods)
- Demonstrate high levels of presentation and clarity on all drawings with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team to help form a positive, strong & vibrant environment
- Certificate IV in Residential Building Drafting (equivalent or higher education)
- Strong knowledge of Building Codes, Residential Design Codes & other relevant Standards
- Proficiency in the use of ArchiCAD and Revit
- At least 3+ years experience in residential drafting relevant to local building methods/practices
**_ Tasks & responsibilities:_**
- Provide drawings and documentation to different levels of detail to suit the required stage of the plans process.
- Identify cost effective and build-able solutions to all designs, Ability to check working drawings for accuracy with specifications and addenda's
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations and design guidelines.
- To act in a professional and ethical manner at all times in accordance with the company policies and guidelines and liaise with sales consultants and construction team members.
- Contribute to a productive and customer focused culture
- Produce sales sketches for estimating
- Production of working drawings from our custom designs, unit developments and commercial projects
- Completion of all contract working drawings for construction, including liaising with external consultants such as Engineer's, Energy Assessors etc to incorporate critical information
- Understanding of the Australian standards and Building Codes
