About The Role
This casual position based in Kadina offers variety and purpose, supporting people with disability across different settings.
* Deliver individualised support in clients' homes, the community and in the office
* Provide overnight respite care as needed
* Promote independence and community inclusion
Work collaboratively with a passionate support team
Skills and Experiences
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
* Lived or professional experience supporting people with disability is highly regarded
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work respectfully across diverse backgrounds
* Comfortable with personal care, mobility support and behaviour management
* Reliable, flexible and committed to empowering others
What You'll Need Before Starting
* Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (or working towards)
* Achievement of certain certifications are mandatory requirements for this role; in applying you must be willing to undertake training in fields such as medication management, NDIS Worker Orientation Modules, CPR and others
* The successful applicant may be required to work Shift Work, In-Home, In-Hub and in other community settings
* Driver's licence (minimum P2) and willingness to drive personal and Novita vehicles
* Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
We're serious about safeguarding our clients. If you don't have a current NDIS Worker Check and SA Working with Children Check, we'll let you know how to obtain these prior to starting work with us.
If you are willing to make a career in Disability Sector and ready to undertake Cert III or IV, with no experience, we'd love to see your application.
