The Director of Student Engagement (7-12 Village) is a member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the Head of Wellbeing (R-12). The Director is an experienced educator with a wholistic lens across all-facets of Secondary School life. An astute collaborator, the Director deftly navigates the needs of diverse stakeholders to enhance student engagement, manage operational effectiveness, and promote an aspirational culture of improvement and growth in wellbeing and learning.

The Director of Student Engagement drives the daily culture, operational coherence, and student-centred experience of the 7–12 Village. This influential role involves liaising with and supporting wellbeing leaders, mentoring staff, facilitating student leadership programs, collaborating across departments to seamlessly integrate learning, wellbeing, and operational strategies. The successful candidate will be a visible, relational leader committed to fostering a positive and enriching environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

* Clearly envision and operationalise strategy, impacting outcomes in a practical and positive way
* Relationally build community cohesion and culture, seamlessly navigating & bridging diverse stakeholders’ needs
* Proactively encourage student voice to engage students, grow their capacity and aspirations
* Promote staff endeavour & professional growth by fostering teacher efficacy, role modelling accountability, cultivating agency and a positive morale through relational trust and effective conflict resolution
* Confidently & effectively lead change, communicate a compelling & cohesive discourse of life in the 7 -12 Village
