About the role
Join the team at Lemontree Feedlot as a full-time Feedmill Operator and Cattle Feeder in Millmerran, QLD. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible operating and maintaining the feedmill equipment whilst also sharing the duties of the daily feeding of our cattle and playing a vital part in the overall success of our operations.
What you'll be doing
* Upkeep and basic maintenance of the feedmill machinery
* Ensuring feed quality and specifications
* Accurate and timely delivery of feed to the cattle and maintaining feed quality.
* Operating the tractors, feed wagons and other equipment in a safe and professional manner
* Maintaining accurate records of feeding schedules and reporting any health issues
* Assisting with the general upkeep and daily maintenance feeding machinery
* Collaborating with the wider farm team to ensure efficient and effective cattle management
* Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm
What we're looking for
* Proven experience working in a similar cattle farming or feedlot role
* Strong attention to detail and record-keeping abilities
* A team player with good communication skills
* Ability to operate farm machinery
