Location details: Broken Hill is a three-hour drive from Mildura, five hours from Adelaide or a short flight from anywhere in Australia. Living and Working information is available in the Far West.
Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical advice, clinical organisation, leadership and consultancy services within the nursing specialty across multiple service groups, target populations and health care professionals, delivering high quality stroke, rehabilitation and falls prevention and management services.
Work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, consumers and partners within the Far West Local Health District and NSW Health.

How To Apply
Please address the selection criteria thoroughly in your application:
Current Authority to Practise as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA. At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration clinical experience including 3 years in the specialty and relevant postgraduate qualifications (Rehabilitation, Stroke or Cardiovascular Disease).
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal) and advanced IT skills to provide complex consultancy services and influence nursing practice.
Ability to work effectively both independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
Ability to lead quality improvement, practice development and evidence-based practice.
Clinical leadership in stroke and/or rehabilitation.
Ability to identify education needs and develop education plans and materials for patients/clients and health professionals.
Commitment to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients to improve health outcomes.
Current NSW driving licence with ability to drive for work.
