About the Business Unit
Security and Emergency Services Group (SESG) provides proactive security services and incident and emergency response to the correctional system. SESG is responsible for providing immediate and longer‐term support through its diverse portfolios such as emergency and incident response, High Security Escort of prisoners, state‐wide training services, barrier control, search and canine services and management of firearms.
About the Role
The Manager – Workforce Services is responsible for the SESG and Statewide training portfolios, and the workforce supporting services that ensures SESG delivers services effectively and efficiently. The position manages the SESG staff responsible for the coordination and delivery of training and will be required to lead the ongoing development and continuous improvement of training. This role also oversees the Human Resources portfolio within SESG and manages the SESG team members responsible for the assignment of staff resources to SESG operations.
