Nightshift Supervisor – Transport & Logistics
2:00pm Start | Toowoomba Based | Onsite Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Nightshift Supervisor to lead our team during afternoon and night operations at our Toowoomba depot. This is a hands-on, onsite role, supervising the safe and efficient loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
About the Role
Starting at 2:00pm, you will be responsible for overseeing nightshift yard operations, coordinating workloads, and ensuring freight is loaded and unloaded safely, accurately, and on time. You will lead by example on the floor and maintain strong communication with drivers and management.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead the nightshift team
* Coordinate loading and unloading of trucks and trailers
* Ensure freight is handled safely and efficiently
* Allocate tasks and manage workflow during peak periods
* Maintain a strong physical presence in the yard and depot
* General administrative and reporting duties
* Use depot systems and complete required documentation
* Support safety, compliance, and operational requirements
About You
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience (transport or warehousing preferred)
* Experience loading and unloading trucks/trailers
* Strong understanding of safe work practices in a yard environment
* Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems
* Reliable, organised, and able to work under pressure
* Strong communication and people management skills
* Knowledge of Toowoomba and surrounding areas
* Current Forklift ticket
* Current HR Licence (highly regarded)
