Due to growth and ongoing success, Turner & Townsend's Cost Management division is recruiting a MEP Senior Cost Manager in Canberra. Working with friendly, professional teams and reporting to the regional Director, you will work on projects including Defence, Health, and Commercial sectors.
* Lead the team to deliver MEP services throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility cost planning to final account agreement.
* Manage and develop the team to ensure high-quality MEP service delivery.
* Lead MEP bid opportunities.
* Collaborate with the Queensland Director to grow MEP cost management opportunities.
* Assist with feasibility studies and procurement reports.
* Estimate and perform cost planning, including presenting final cost plans to clients.
* Manage post-contract cost variances and change control processes effectively.
* Must be in Australia with full working rights.
* A recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering is preferred.
* MRICS / AIQS accreditation or equivalent is ideal.
* Relevant experience, preferably in a consultancy environment.
* Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
* Experience in cost management sector.
* Proficient in CostX software.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Team player with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent English communication, report writing, and bid preparation skills.
* Motivated, driven, and client-focused with the ability to work autonomously.
* Interest in sustainable design and alternative technologies.
