Facilities Manager – immediate start

Robert Walters is currently partnering with a leading retailer that is looking for a Facilities Manager to manage the FM aspects of their distribution centre in Western Melbourne.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage the FM Operations, engineering, risk and compliance of the site.
* Minimise disruptions to the distribution centres operations
* Establish and implement the planned maintenance program
* Monitor and manage FM contractor works and activities
* Lead the procurement of site-specific non-residential services and contracts
* Manage and maintain accurate plant and equipment asset register, operational documentation and operating procedures.
* Engage with the Landlord and / or appointed managing agents to have landlord responsibilities undertaken and manage property lease obligations relating to FM activities.
* Assist National Project Teams and approved others in the delivery of Site related projects
About you:
* Cert IV in Trade or Engineering or Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
* Proven experience in the facilities and/or property industry, industrial preferred but not essential
* Experience managing FM for a distribution centre
* Experience utilising Maximo (preferred)
* Excellent communication & engagement skills
