We're now seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our Mackay team and be part of the next growth phase.
About the Role
This role is ideal for a confident, people-focused sales driven person who enjoys building relationships and growing a customer base. You'll manage existing customers while actively developing new business through face-to-face visits, phone, and email.
Once product knowledge and customer service capability are demonstrated, the role will include onsite customer visits and proactive new business development.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow our existing customer base
* Identify and develop new sales opportunities
* Promote and sell safety products & site supplies, signage and workwear
* Conduct face-to-face on-site customer visits
* Follow up enquiries and provide solutions
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' sales experience preferred
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills
* Comfortable with cold calling and new business development
* Highly organised with good time management
* Positive, energetic, and customer-first attitude
* Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge
Requirements
* Available for 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm)
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence with a good driving record
* Punctual, honest, and reliable
* Well presented
* Confident communicating face-to-face, by phone, and email
* Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
* Need to be a great team player and have a team player mindset.
