Role Overview: As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall accuracy and compliance of our taxation obligations. This includes income tax, FBT, GST/BAS, and customs duties.

Key Responsibilities:
\
* Managing the preparation and lodgement of all corporate tax obligations, including Income Tax, FBT and GST/BAS returns.
* Monitoring and interpreting new tax laws and implementing changes across the organisation where required.
* Advising on customs matters and identifying opportunities to reduce indirect tax and duty costs.
* Providing accurate tax provisions for corporate, local, and international employees.
* Supporting corporate risk management by analysing market and industry trends and implementing tax strategies accordingly.
* Managing relationships and operations with local banks, including oversight of payroll and bank transactions.
* Liaising with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Requirements
\
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
\
* CPA or CA qualification with a tertiary degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation legislation, compliance, and corporate tax obligations.
* Demonstrated experience managing complex tax processes, ideally within a large corporate or multinational environment.
* Excellent analytical, advisory, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Proven ability to interpret financial statements and regulatory requirements.
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and project management skills.
