An excellent opportunity for a Consultant Urological Surgeon to join a well-established, collaborative team in Launceston, delivering Level 6 urology services across North and North‑West Tasmania.
The Opportunity
* Join a team of 4 experienced urologists in a supportive, collegial environment
* Access to Da Vinci Xi dual console robotic platform
* Work across LGH and Mersey Community Hospital (clinics and theatre)
* Participate in SET training, MDT meetings, and teaching
* Subspecialty interests encouraged (robotics and female urology highly regarded)
What’s on Offer
* $254,149 – $445,341 + super (pro rata)
* Urology Specialist Allowance up to $110,000 p.a.
* Relocation support up to $15,000
* Flexible appointment options (Staff Specialist or VMO)
The Role
* Theatre lists, outpatient clinics, and consultative services
* Supervision and teaching of junior medical staff
* Involvement in quality improvement, education, and research
