Overview
School Officer - Primary Assisting Student Learning. Job No: TCE4732. Location: Ryan Catholic College. Commencement Date: 18 May 2026. Salary Range: $34.17 - $35.62 per hour pending experience + Super. This is a permanent, part-time role working 6 hours per day, 4 days per week.
Role summary: provide hands-on support in the classroom, assist students with their individual learning goals, and help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Build connections with students to support their confidence and wellbeing, and collaborate with teachers to monitor progress and provide meaningful feedback that encourages each learner to thrive.

Responsibilities
* Provide hands-on classroom support to assist student learning.
* Support students with their individual learning goals and personalize assistance as needed.
* Help create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
* Build strong connections with students to support confidence, wellbeing and engagement.
* Collaborate with teachers to monitor progress, celebrate achievements, and provide meaningful feedback.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Demonstrated alignment with the school's values and commitment to student safety and wellbeing.
* Working With Children Check (Blue Card) prior to commencement as required by policy.
* Current or active permit/registration with Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) or other relevant authority, as applicable.
* Pre-employment requirements may include medical assessments and immunisation as required by role and policy; consent provided as applicable.
* Legal right to work in Australia.
* Nominate at least two professional referees with contact details for recruitment reference checks.
* Provide copies of qualifications or evidence upon request.
