The Role
Reporting to the Group General Manager - SHEQ, the National HSEQ Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) functions across the business. You'll be responsible for maintaining documentation, managing records, supporting audits, and ensuring SHEQ systems are up to date and compliant. This role is essential in enabling both the SHEQ teams to operate efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining national SHEQ Management System as part of document control, maintaining training portal (Work Metrics)
* Maintain and update SHEQ documentation, registers, and databases in line with company standards.
* Maintaining Group Training Module (Myosh), maintaining SHEQ Administration duties (injury management, workers compensation and meeting minutes) and supporting the Group GM - SHEQ.
* Act as Document Controller for the company's management system, ensuring procedural compliance.
* Assist in preparing SHEQ reports, communications, and meeting materials.
* Provide administrative support for internal and external audits.
* Track and report on SHEQ actions, ensuring timely close-out.
* Liaise with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to uphold SHEQ standards.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of SHEQ processes and systems.
About You
* Previous experience in SHEQ administration or support roles in safety, environment, or quality.
* Strong understanding of SHEQ systems, compliance requirements, and document control.
* Proficiency in MS Office and online platforms (experience with Myosh, SharePoint, ChemAlert is desirable).
* Excellent time management and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer‐focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* Current National Police Clearance.
Desirable
* Qualifications in WHS/OHS or Internal Auditing.
* Experience in utilities, construction, or resources sectors.
* Workplace First Aid and CPR certification.
* Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
