Reporting into the Pacific Service Manager, the new ANZ Rental & Safety Service ("RSS") Manager will be based at our Notting Hill head office in Melbourne, Victoria, and have the requirement to travel frequently. You will play a crucial role in overseeing the strategy, sales and resource management of all RSS solutions.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
* Create a clear, inspiring vision and strategy for RSS;
* Lead a high-performing, collaborative, and innovative RSS team backed by informed decisions for both short and long term goals;
* Analyse market trends, opportunities, and partner with the Marketing team to devise targeted campaigns for RSS;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry stakeholders, and partners to expand the RSS business;
* Lead workforce planning activities whilst monitoring and ensuring effective and efficient allocation and utilisation of equipment and labour resources;
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure adequate business support is delivered for RSS;
* Apply a compliance focused mindset across all operations, and;
* Always ensure a safety-first approach.
The ideal candidate will be equipped with the following attributes:
* Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, or a related field;
* 3+ years' experience in sales leadership;
* 8 to 10+ years' experience in technical product and / or technical service sales;
* Well versed with strategic planning and execution, resource management, and leading dispersed cross-functional teams inclusive of remote team members;
* Strong commercial acumen with experience in budgeting, financial forecasting and cost management;
* Demonstrated background of managing complex projects and driving continuous improvement;
* Ability to learn and develop a thorough understanding of Draeger Safety products and services;
* Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards in the industry;
* Proficient computer skills including MS office skills;
* Excellent customer focus, relationship building stakeholder management, project management, workforce planning, problem solving, analytical, presentation, interpersonal, and communication, skills.
A Police Check will be required for this position.
