Quality and Education Specialist
Bupa Aged Care invites you to join their team as a Quality and Education Specialist in Ballina, Australia. This role is critical in ensuring quality governance, compliance, and competency of team members in delivering care services that meet Aged Care Quality Standards.
The successful candidate will lead the home in relation to quality care and services, identifying improvement opportunities and providing hands-on support in remediating gaps. They will also develop team members' knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice within the framework of Aged Care Quality Standards.
This position requires a strong background in nursing with current APHRA registration, postgraduate qualification in Aged Care, and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, and training, along with effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing quality-focused leadership and coaching
* Guiding documentation/recording to ensure care and services meet expected outcomes
* Developing team members' knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice
* Identifying areas of employees' skills/knowledge that require further learning/competency development
* Maintaining the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI)
