In addition to the responsibilities associated with the individual teams, you may be required to :
* Undertake research, analysis and administrative activities to support the development of regional plans.
* Work in a flexible, multi-disciplinary team managing projects and fostering a positive team environment.
* Provide technical advice to internal and external clients on local, statutory and regional planning issues.
* Prepare written correspondence, submissions, briefs and reports on land use planning issues and initiatives.
* Undertake research, analysis and problem solving.
* Represent the Department, as appropriate, at industry / stakeholders' events, meetings and working groups in an effective and professional manner.
* Contribute to and support whole of government involvement and input on matters of State and / or regional significance into local government plans, statutory and other land use planning processes.
* Interpret and implement Planning Act legislation (including the Regional Planning Interests Act 2014), regulations, and guidelines relating to work area policies and functions.
