About the Role:
We are seeking qualified Early Childhood Diploma Educators for our Long Day Care Service based in Kings Langley. In this role you will:
* Contribute, in consultation with the Children, Educational Leader, Team Members & Families, to developing weekly programs appropriate to the individual needs and interests of the children
* Maintain the necessary Administration, Programming, child developmental records of children, and the curriculum, as required.
* Assist in the observation and evaluation of the children's programs and their individual development.
* Assist with the implementation of daily routines.
* Positively interact with the children, giving each child individual and appropriate attention as required.
* Ensure that children are at all times adequately supervised and Educator ratios are maintained.
* Form comforting and nurturing relationships with the children.
* Assist with providing a safe, healthy and welcoming environment, maintaining at all times an anti-bias, non-judgmental and confidential service to all children.
* Work effectively in a team environment.
About You
We are seeking candidates who are a qualified Early Childhood Educator (Diploma, or any equivalent qualification). You will also need to have:
* Previous experience in Childcare, and working with children in the 0-5 year age range.
* A current working with Children’s Check
* A current First Aid and CPR qualification (including Anaphylaxis and Asthma)
* A current qualification in Identifying and responding to Children and Young People at Risk (CHCPRT025)
