About the role:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the focus of this role is to ensure that Plant Infrastructure, Utilities and Equipment are safe, available and ready to use at all times by maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing them.
Responsibilities
 * Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in a heavy manufacturing environment.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize production interruptions.
 * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
 * Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
 * Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
 * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
 * Collaborate with other maintenance and production staff to ensure smooth operations.
About you
A current A-Grade Electrical License.
Experience working in manufacturing industries.
Basic knowledge of PLC systems (Allen Bradley or Siemens preferred).
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Excellent understanding of workplace safety protocols and standards.
Team player with good communication skills.
Flexibility to work overtime or shifts when required.
Minimum Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
