As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports for Defence projects and sustainment. This role requires strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyze financial reports for Defence projects and sustainment.
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on financial and commercial matters.
* Support invoice processing, asset reconciliations, and impairment reviews.
* Contribute to Defence-specific reporting (e.g., MPR, PPRIP, SPMS).
* Provide advice on compliance with financial legislation and Defence frameworks.
Requirements
* 5+ years' experience in project finance or Defence financial roles.
* Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen.
* Proficiency in MILIS and financial management systems.
* Understanding of Defence financial frameworks and reporting tools.
* Ideally relevant qualifications (AQF 6 or higher).

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to hold and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
