About the Role:
This permanent, full-time position is designed to support the smooth operation of the Hospital Café and wider hospitality services. In this role, you will prepare and serve food, provide friendly customer service, and maintain high hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and serve quality food and beverages while maintaining high hygiene standards.
2. Deliver warm, efficient customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
3. Keep the café clean, stocked, and running smoothly, including POS tasks.
4. Support other areas when needed, such as kitchen, cleaning, laundry, or ward services.
5. Follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all.
6. Contribute to service improvements and support a positive team culture.
7. Engage respectfully with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
8. Provide culturally responsive service in line with Queensland Health frameworks.
