We have an exciting opportunity within our dynamic and positive Customer Service team.

If you are a motivated and highly skilled individual with a passion for providing quality service in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you!

* Six (6) month term contract.
* Temporary, full-time position (35 hours per week).
* Remuneration of $2,582.98 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,099.58 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

*Please note: Rates of pay for all Council employees aged between 15-18 years of age are paid in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, Clause 32. Junior and Trainee Employment. For further information, please see Council’s Junior Rates of Pay Fact Sheet.

Your new role:

Our focused customer service team members are the first point of contact for enquiries and provide valuable assistance for community members with a wide range of requests.

Duties of this position will include but are not limited to:

* Providing advice to both internal and external customers;
* Undertaking call centre operations;
* Processing applications and requests
* Providing feedback to customers on unresolved issues in a timely manner; and
* Cash handling responsibilities including receipting and reconciliation.

What you will need to succeed:

* Substantial previous customer service and/or administrative experience relevant to the role;
* Excellent time management;
* Organisational, communication and interpersonal skills; and
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
