Based at our Belmont Timber store this position will suit a motivated individual with strong attention to detail, customer focus and team orientation.
Key Accountabilities and responsibilities
· Deliver service excellence in the loading / unloading of trucks
· Goods inwards and receipting of stock. Quality check items being processed
· Processing customer returns
· Maintain accuracy of inventory levels through regular maintenance
· Interacting with material controllers and staff daily
· Provide a high level of customer service and POS processing
· Understand products and their suitable application
· Identify opportunities to increase productivity and share these with Management team
· Direct all material controllers with regards to company safety and business compliance
· Ensure presentation of stock is compliant with all safety and business directives
· Assist in the control of soiled/damaged merchandise as per procedure
· Manage housekeeping standards in area
· Implement stock rotation procedures
· Safety Health and Environment compliance
· Communicate effectively with other team members and Assist colleagues when required
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
· 2- 5 Yrs goods inwards experience, preferably within the retail and building supplies industry
· Current Forklift Licence
· Excellent communication skills.
· Customer service and POS experience
· Sound IT skills and attention to detail
