We are looking for the right person (or people) to join our Cairns Admin team of Security Superheroes.
NQPS Security is a fast growing, full service FNQ Security provider.
With 150+ guards we are looking for a detail focussed team player with proven experience in payroll and compliance within the security or similar industries.
Ideally we are wanting one person working in office full time 8am to 4pm to fulfil both roles—however we may look split the role to employ a compliance and/or payroll specialist on a short term contract if they have the skills needed to help instigate and train.
Applicants must:
• Be dept at award interpretation (including all penalties) across the security sector
• Be Proficient with Excel and Xero or other Payroll software
• Be Extremely diligent and able to self check their own work
• Enjoy working in a busy and often dynamic office environment
• Be Open to learning and taking on other roles to provide coverage as needed
• Understand the importance of compliance and genuinely gain satisfaction from advising on, setting up and overseeing the running of approved systems, policies, and procedures
• Be a team player across all gamuts of office life
• Be Able to work in a respectful manner with a diverse range of people and personalities
• Have great communication skills both written and verbal
• Be able to motivate and educate, and follow up to ensure all policies are tracked and adhered to
• Enjoy being hands-on and operational
Experience with Deputy and / or Employment Hero, Dropbox Advanced, Bright HR / Bright Safe and Xero are advantageous.
Previous experience in the security industry and a current QLD Security license are also favourable.
You will be working alongside our Operations Manager and Client Services Manager and have the support of Admin staff.
This role has the scope for growth as the business continues to expand.
