About the Role & About You

Youth and Family Services are seeking a highly skilledprofessional to join their Family Support Service. The Family Support CaseManagers work within a multi-disciplinary team and have experience in theprovision of case management to vulnerable families whereby there are concernsfor the safety, stability, wellbeing, and development of the child/ren.

The position entails:

* Supportto vulnerable families with children and young people with the focus onthe best interests of the child/ren.
* Workin a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality confidentialservice that conforms to the legal and professional requirements, ensuringthe safety and wellbeing of all families.
* Providecase management to families referred through The Orange Door and ChildProtection
* Provisionof MARAM assessment to vulnerable families and implement safety planning
* Develop,facilitate, and evaluate child specific programs, including middle yearsgroups for vulnerable children to enhance their social, practical, andemotional skills that strengthens their health and wellbeing andconnection to school and community.
* Develop,facilitate parenting support groups for families to obtain social,practical, emotional and educational support
