Coordinator Regional Operations
Department of Education, Western Australia - South Metropolitan Education Regional Office is seeking to establish a pool of Coordinator Regional Operations (CRO) for permanent, fixed-term, full-time and part-time vacancies that may arise during **** up to the end of December ****.
The office is located in Beaconsfield, near Fremantle, and serves 276 public schools and approximately 127,000 students.
Role Overview
The CRO provides professional, administrative and operational support to the Director of Education and Assistant Directors of Education, as well as to schools and their communities in the South Metropolitan Education Region.
The role requires highly developed interpersonal skills and a willingness to respond and adjust operational responses.
Key responsibilities include:
Implementing system-wide strategies and programs that support schools.
Establishing effective formal and informal liaison networks with other agencies, schools, the wider community, industry and political groups to maintain a positive public image for the Department and the Regional Office.
Serving as the first point of contact for schools in their dealings with the Regional office.

Consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department's Screening Unit before you start.
