With excellent communication and collaboration skills, you know how to take people on the journey and build alignment across technical and non-technical teams.You will have experience designing and delivering solutions in complex environments, ideally within hospitality, tourism, or service industries, and bring strong knowledge of enterprise applications, integrations, and cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
Ideally, you come from a diverse background and have supported organisations through significant digital and business transformations, giving you the insight and adaptability to bridge strategy and execution across all areas of the business.To be successful, you'll need:Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Architecture or Cloud certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Solutions Architect) are desirableMinimum of 10+ years of experience in technical roles, including 5+ years in solution and/or enterprise architecture, ideally within a large and complex environmentDeep expertise in designing end-to-end solutions that bridge business needs with technical implementationStrong working knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, systems integration, data architecture, and cloud-native designComfortable navigating complex technology environments with legacy systems and new digital platformsAbility to articulate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPragmatic problem-solver with a solid desire to innovate and modernizePassionate about user experience, system performance, and operational efficiencyAbout Hamilton IslandOur mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder-filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.Every team member plays a role in shaping those experiences – making Hamilton Island not just a great place to visit, but a great place to work.A little island can do wonders - make your next career move one to remember.
