Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this is a standout opportunity for a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant who wants real ownership, visibility and impact within a growing, multi-entity organisation.
You will sit at the center of the financial reporting engine, taking end-to-end ownership of core accounting processes while playing a key role in strengthening controls, lifting reporting quality and supporting the business through its next phase of growth. The key deliverables will include but not be limited to:
* Own end-to-end monthly and year-end reporting across a multi-entity environment, ensuring accuracy and audit-readiness
* Maintain balance sheet and general ledger integrity through high-quality reconciliations and journals
* Lead statutory reporting and act as a key contact for external auditors
* Support tax, compliance and governance obligations alongside external advisors
* Drive continuous improvement across accounting processes, controls and policies
* Support treasury activities including cash flow monitoring, bank reconciliations and coordination with lenders and external advisors
* Provide technical accounting support for new standards and business initiatives, with light mentoring as required
Ideal Candidates
You will have an excellent technical accounting base with a proven ability to handle a varied workload. It is also essential that you are able to engage and influence key stakeholders across all levels with your first class communication skills. To succeed, you will have an ability to balance your detail-driven personality with the capacity to understand the bigger picture.
Other requirements include:
* CA qualified (or equivalent)
* Circa 3-5yrs experience in a complex corporate environment
* Big 4 / Mid-Tier and ASX / PE exposure is highly desirable
