We are seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our contract manufacturing business specialising in agricultural and animal health products. Based in St Marys, western Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to support the finance team and gain broad exposure across all areas of accounting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid foundation in accounts who enjoys variety and being part of a close-knit team. Flexible working hours/days are available.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist and provide backup for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing and reconciliations
* Assist with updating customer price lists
* Provide backup support for RPO close-out
* Support sales invoicing and resolve customer queries
* Review and close outstanding AP items and open GRNI in a timely manner
* Match invoices and maintain accurate filing systems
* Assist with purchasing tasks as required
* Provide general support across the accounting team
About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts role
* Demonstrated Accounts Payable experience
* Manufacturing experience preferred
* Accounting or Finance qualification, or currently working towards one
* Strong attention to detail and a proactive, organised approach
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
